For the holiday season we would like to share some excellent vodka drink recipes. We got a nice email from the folks at Stoli Vodka asking us to review their holiday cocktail line up. We did and discovered a few winners for the winter season! Our favorites follow:

To warm you both inside and out this holiday cocktail gives amazingly warm and wonderful sensations.  This is a super simple holiday cocktail recipe for vanilla vodka.

Stoli Fireside Hot Chocolate

  • 1 ½ parts Stoli Vanil®
  • 4 parts hot chocolate
  • Marshmallows

Combine ingredients in a pre-warmed mug. – Do not skip this step, just pop a mug full of water in a microwave to warm, dump the water then fill will the good stuff. Finish by topping with a few marshmallows and dusting with cinnamon sprinkles – Not part of their recipe but nutmeg too if you are inclined.

The next treat from Stoli is served straight up in a martini glass.

Stoli Mistletoe Kiss

  • 1 ½ parts Stoli®
  • 1 part pomegranate juice
  • Squeeze of fresh lime

Shake with ice and strain into a chilled martini glass.
Garnish by floating pomegranate seeds and a fresh mint sprig.

Our third recommendation for a Stoli Vodka Drink Holiday Treat is served over ice in a rocks glass and features their Apple Vodka. We tried it with and without the agave nectar, with and without simple syrup and found if you use a hardy apple juice you can tone down the extra sweetness.

Stoli Gala Applik Winter Storm

  • 1 ½ parts Stoli® Gala ApplikTM
  • ¾ part agave nectar (or simple syrup)
  • ¾ part fresh lemon juice
  • 2 parts apple juice

Shake and pour into an ice-filled rocks glass.
Garnish with a red apple slice and sprinkle of cinnamon.

We also did not stop here with this apple vodka. We found using the apple vodka made very savory apple-cranberry cosmos, yum and super easy to mix.
